Two days ago I had bleached blond hair. I went to the salon and asked to go dark brown. I got the dark brown hair I wanted and also got a deep conditioning treatment. Problem is, I am already DYING (pun!) for my old hair back. I read on the forum about diffusing a shampoo with a little dishwashing detergent and about prell and might try these, but before I do I wanted to ask... Isn't there color remover that will take the dark dye out? If so, will it bring me back to my natural color or back to my blond? I've had the bleached blond hair for so long, I don't even remember the natural. I don't think I should bleach my hair again any time soon. What would you do if you were in my shoes, wanting your old blond hair back?

Shampoo and dishwashing detergent will speed up the fading, but it won't get you much lighter than medium brown.
ColorFix, Color Zap, Color Oops, Color Charm Color Corrector, Goldwell Color Remover, or Igora Phantom will all remove most types of oxidative permanent hair coloring. You'll still have to bleach it some to get back to blonde. It will definitely not get you back to your natural color!
By the way, this isn't really good for the hair. Your hair has already been bleached and how you're talking about subjecting it to further damage. In the same vein, this may be something you want to do in a salon. Most salons have the experience to do this without trashing your hair. However, do NOT let them try to bleach you back to blonde. That won't work and you'll end up with an awful mess.

I am in the same situation... was bleach blonde, my hair is dyed to a medium brown now though so if I use the colour remover what colour will it go to?
