I need a little help, I'm in the middle of planning my wedding and I ran into a problem. Almost 3 years ago my dad died and so now that I'm coming up on my wedding day I have two of my brothers walking me down and giving me away so no I'm trying to find a song that I can dance with my brothers to since I can't have my father/ daughter dance! If you can help me at all please let me know!

Don't know if this will help...
My dad took off before I was even old enough to start contemplating marriage but his brother, my uncle, stepped up. Eight months before I got married he died so my brother gave me away. When it came time for a father/daughter dance, I danced with my brother, but I chose a song to honor my Uncle. It was Mark Wills' "Wish you were here."

Sorry about your father.
Not sure this will work but maybe this song, as if he is still with you. YouTube - Daddy's Angel-Perfect New Father/Daughter Wedding Dance Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otOiO7nKywU)
YouTube - you can let go now daddy with lyrics (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3A62x8g2QM&feature=related)
(like you are saying good bye, and thank you, and that it's time for you to start a new life... )
I'm not really sure what you want to go for, the above poster seems to have a great idea.

Sorry dude, I'm having a hard time finding any relatively happy songs, with any meaning to your situation. I'm sure its because I'm just not looking in the right places. I hope those help though.

I also give my condolences to you. I don't know what kind of music you like, but this one may fit. Listen to this one right from the start. This girls father had just passed. The situation is different, but it still applies.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Father... I think that since your brother is stepping up you should dance with him to a song that honors him. There are other ways to honor your father...
Through The Years - Kenny Rogers
I'll Stand By You - The Pretenders or Carrie Underwood
Wind Beneath My Wings - Bette Midler
You've Got A Friend - James Taylor
I Hope You Dance - Leanne Womack

There's no hurt in you and your brothers honoring your dad at you reception with a father daughter song, maybe have a slide show and a candle to represent his presence, sorry for your loss I hope your wedding is beautiful!
