OK, I probably do too lol. But I've never noticed bad breath on my cat when he comes for cuddles until the last couple of days. He hasn't been eating anything different to normal, and it's not like a fishy smell or whatever, but a real stale smell. It's really bad, but my husband can't smell it. The other thing I've noticed is that my cat has suddenly started drinking a lot of water, whereas before he very rarely would drink anything and now it's like he can't get enough! What are the possible causes of bad breath in cats? I'm concerned...

Symptoms usually accompany disease if you are alert enough to pay attention and recognize. With cats, symptoms are often subtle.
