My husband and I have been trying to fall pregnant for about a year and a half now without much success. I have recently been tested by my gynie and all tests came back clear and confirmed that I am ovulating.

I have a regular cyle which is normally every 28/30 days. However what bothers me is when my period is finished I then start to feel like I get pms symptoms which last about 2 weeks. I continuously have a dull headache, water retension, tiredness and mild cramping. But what bothers me is why does this happen after my period. Is this maybe not a hormonal problem which could be interfering with conception.

Some women will experience different symptoms when they are preparing to ovulate. Perhaps this is what you are experiencing. Ask your doctor about any other additional testing that might not have been done yet... thyroid for example.

If it hasn't happened already, your husband should also be tested. Many times there is a male component that is preventing pregnancy, or a combination from both partners.
