Hi I am F-1 student from armenia. I have been in the USA since August 2007.
I am married and receive salary 25000$.
I know that I can't claim for personal exemption form me and for my wife as well. Only resident aliens can claim. Also there is a treaty between us-armenia ( pub 901 , article 19)
But limited for less than 10000$.
My questions are:
1) Whether I am a US resident alien and if so , can I claim for personal exemptions for me and for my spouse?
2) can I claim for treaty and personal exemptions both?
3)Are there any other exemptions that I can claim?

Help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you:)

I am not sure but it appears that you will not get any treaty deduction as it is limited for only one year.
You will file nonresident tax return and Form 8843. You get personal exemption. You can not claim exemption for your spouse.
