My boyfriend had a one night stand with a girl he met, and she ended up pregnant. She allowed him to meet baby Jason at the age of 4 months old, and allowed him to be in the baby's life up until he was 9 months old. She then changed all of her information, she moved to a different state, and never told my boyfriend where she or his son is. My boyfriend desperately wants to be in his son's life, and is trying to gain some type of custody over him. He's been trying to contact her for an entire year, and we finally found her Facebook page. We messaged her and her mother about him wanting to be in Jason's life, but they made no attempt to respond or let him know what the deal is. How should he go about trying to see his son again?

He needs to go to court. Is he paying child support at this time ?

If not he needs to be declared the legal father and then he can also ask for visitation.
