I bumped into this guy that I got to know through a friend around my work place. And he suggested that we should meet up for lunch.

And so we arranged to meet for lunch and he brought me to this really nice fine dining place for lunch. He paid for lunch although I did offer to go dutch but he said its OK I can treat him back the next time. Lunch was short about an hr but I thought we hit it off.

We continued to texted each other on that very day of our lunch and now it has been 10 days he did not contact me.

To be honest, I am disappointed... coz I am interested in getting to know this guy better

What should I do ?

And the problem with sending him a text (or better yet give him a call) to see what's up, is what?

Sounds like both of you are really shy. Someone needed to set the guy up with you, so it doesn't surprise me that he's not calling. He's probably wondering why you're not calling either.

Why don't you just pick up the phone if you are so interested.

Could it be that he is not interested?

Prior to lunch we met for 3 times with a group of friends

So I was thinking if he wasn't interested to know me better maybe he wouldn't even bring me to such a nice place for lunch.

But strange... no calls from him for the second meeting

We even said that perhaps we should do dinner because lunch's too rushed

So call him, it's not always the man's responsibility. Then you will have your answer, we can't tell you whether he's interested or not, maybe he has had a busy week or so. Maybe he's scared your not interested. Won't know until you call.

If you call him and he doesn't seem interested in getting together again or doesn't return your call then you have your answer. But you won't know until you ask the question.

Just call!

Some girls rather loose the guy than try to call. I never get that.

It's just a phone call, not a proposal to get married.
