Just gone to my mates party , she had a friend there (a lad, I'm girl by the way), and came to going home and turns out he walks home same way as me, so walk home the conversations basically dead, starts to pick up a bit.
I could tell he really wanted to walk me home, although we bearly knew each other, so walked home, getting towards my house he piggie backs me all the way with stops in between, a few quite more than friendly hugs involved, and a few moments when we could have kissed, but I held back, took me to my door, and just stayed there in each other arms for about a minute.
I know it was only like about 1/2 hours together , I may be overreacting

But something doesn't feel right , a have a few problems with it...
1. I don't really like his personality that much
2. my mates don't really like him, also make fun of his looks.
3. I'm slightly shallow really, and don't see him as attractive
4.I'm in year ten he's in year 12
5. I like other people
6. it's his birthday tomorrow
7. I've promised to go the cinema sometime soon with him ( should I bring someone else along?)
8. I haven't been with anybody for a year now, so may be a little desperate, but still holding out for "the one"
9. I have never kissed anyone properly before
10. Right now I feel shakey, sick, and dirty.

I'm sorry this is so long .
Please help very confused
X

If you don't like him as a boyfriend if he asked, just be honest.

Yes, you are shallow if you don't like him because your friends doesn't think he's up to their standards.

So at least you admit to being naïve but maybe your up grow it.
