I don't know why I was schedule for a colpo in a month and I indeed know that the doc who saw me at my first appoint. Did one and decided not to post my results in my pregnancy passport. The reason I say that is because my midwife went over all my tests and my results everything looked beautiful and then the pap smear part is empty I can swore I had a pap done at 9 weeks, this pakistany doc seem no where to be found and now the nurse I guess schedule me for a colpo when I am going to be 22 weeks? I read a lot and saw that it can caus bleeding... I just want to miss that appointment man so freaking confused and the funny thing is the nurse kept telling me not to worry well am worrying about my baby!!

What do you think?. am ready to skip the colposcopy or tell them to redo my pap

Ps.. I do my pap every 6 months and the results always came back normal so this is just pissing me off... give me ideass!!

I had cervical dysplasia when pregnant and had a Colponoscopy with no adverse affects. It is simply a microscopic examination.

Sometimes, cervical dysplasia can get worse during pregnancy because of the increase of hormones in your body.

You do not have to accept any treatment or tests that you do not want.Make it clear to your doctor that you need to understand fully all treatment options and potential side effects.

They will not do any treatment during pregnancy for dysplasia.Colponoscopy is only a tool to monitor your cervical cells.

Some women recover fully without treatment after pregnancy.
The test is safe.Talk to your doctor. You are paying them for a service and you should never leave their office without having all of your concerns addressed.
