Dialup connectivity with pstn is costly.u can use adsl line at both ends .u can make your server vpn server if it is windows 2003 server and configure your workstation as vpn client.otherwise you can use any vpn softwre on your server and your worstation.or you can use logmein.visit www.logmein.com

I do not know the particulars of your network and what company policies are in place for remote connectivity. You may have some company rules to comply with first.

Secondly, there is no real "easy" way to establish a VPN but it is the most secure and reliable method.

As an alternative, check out the remote PC oferings for accessing your PC via the Internet. One such option can be found at http://www.logmein.com with their LogMeIn Pro offering.
