His attitude is weirrrddd. Try this. If he doesn't to go out with you because that'l waste money and all.. tell him to just take a walk with you. Or ask him to accompany you when you want to go shopping for groceries and things like that. Observe his reactions then. You are confused and you don't know what's going on exactly. Sort that out first. Because going out friends like a single person and coming home early in the morning does ring bells... you need to confront him big time with a no bull attitude babes.
