Yesterday I got caught along with a friend for bagging merchandise and not paying for it. We are both employees of this company. In the back I was honest with how much we took over a month and a half. My friend was not as honest. The total between us (and his friends) would be around 4500-5000.After ileft I called my manager and told him that I would bring the merchandise back opened or not. My question(s) what's the worst case scenario? Best case scenario? Time frame for the police Roget involved etc thanks

Hello fat:
You are assuming that because you did thus and so and got caught, that there is going to be a normal, ordinary, predetermined, progression of events.
Nothing could be further from the truth. It appears that you believe that the events now unfolding are written in stone. And are predetermined, therefore, beyond your control.
Nope. You can control a LOT of what happens to you by hiring a very good criminal lawyer.

Hello again, fat:
Probably $5,000 or more. I don't know what duty counsel is. You're in Canada and we don't have those here. If it's the public defender, and you have NO money, that's what you'll get.
What can he do for you?? I don't know. It depends on how much damage you did to yourself when you were opening your mouth.
Hopefully, he can save you from being convicted of a felony. That's going to hurt your for the rest of your life...
