I bought a Troy Built 21" self propelled lawn mower 2 years ago.
On the front right wheel, the axel is held into place by a plastic bearing. The bearing has a hexagonal OD that fits into the metal mower body and then the front axel rotates within the ID of this plastic bearing.
The originally one came loose and fell off during the end of last years mowing. So I bought a replacement. I re-placed it into the mower body and placed the axel back through it, but upon my first mow it started rattling free. Next I tried to use an epoxy to hold the plastic bearing in place, but the vibrations of the mower quickly broke the bond.
Trying to see if anyone else has had this problem and what I should do to try to prevent it and allow the bearing to stay in place and do its job.
Thanks
