72y2-98
I assume this is 72y^{2}-98
First, note that if you divide 72 and 98 by 2, you have two perfect squares.
So, factor out a 2:
2(36y^{2}-49)
Now, see inside the parentheses? It is the difference of two squares.
I assume you know that factorization? It is, x^{2}-y^{2}=(x+y)(x-y)
Can you finish now? Let me know if you remain stuck.

determine the x-y-intercepts of the graph of each function y=x2-5xt4
What is this? Please do a preview before you post, so that you know it is displaying correctly or that you typed it correctly.
Is this it:
y=x^{2}-5x+4
If so, to find the x intercepts, then y must be equal to 0. Set y=o and solve for x bt factoring or using the quadratic formula.
For that matter, just graph it and look at the intercepts.
To find the y intercepts, set x=0.s an aside, just use ^ when you want an exponent.
Just writing x2 looks like you want to multiply x by 2.
