Okay, I only have bits and pieces of the song but thought I would try and see if anyone knew the name of the song by the info I am able to provide.

In no order:

"Hear you when you're walking"
"Hear you when you're stalking"
"Games you're playing"
"Cause I'm so much better than that"

I know it's not much but any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I am fairly certain the song you are referring to is called Better by Cowboy Mouth.

I've been waiting for you to wake up
And realize I was the one
You've been waiting for me to break up
With you so we could be done

I've been working on something different
That only we could enjoy
But you've been working for something different
That only you could destroy

Can't you see the waves crash over your shoulders?
Can't you see the sunshine here in my eyes?

I don't want to hear you talking
Or fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that
Hear me saying I'm not participating
All the games you're playing
'Cause I'm so much better than that

Nananana nanananana nanananananana

I've been hoping that you would save me
So I could stand and be strong
But you've been hoping to drive me crazy
To tell them all I was wrong

I'm never going to take this anymore
I will not take your hatred anymore
So you can have your hurt and wear it like a crown

I don't want to hear you talking
Or fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that
Hear me saying I'm not participating
All the games you're playing
'Cause I'm so much better than that

Nananana nanananana nanananananana, yeah
Nananana nanananana nanananananana, yeah

I don't want to hear you talking
Fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that
Hear me saying I'm not participating
All the games you're playing
'Cause I'm so much

I don't want to hear you talking
Or fear you when you're stalking
You can watch me walking
'Cause I'm so much better than that

Nananana nanananana nanananananana, yeah
Nananana nanananana nanananananana, yeah
Nananana nanananana nanananananana

I've been waiting

Hi, I'm new here and like Echoz, I'm also trying to track down the name of a song and the artist who sings it. Funnily enough it's also got a lot of nananana's in the chorus!

Some of lyrics in no particular order are:

Snakes and?? In the back of your room
Now I see that it's a comfort to you
See me kicking the door with my boots
Take away these tongues that twist
Too much love to taste that's bitter
Na na nananana na na
Na na nananana na na

It's an indie rock type song

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Just like to say a big thank you to the person who emailed me the answer to my question :)

I thought it sounded like Beck the first time I heard it, but couldn't find anything to tie it to him, until your message.

Would have emailed you back, but wasn't sure about the email address ;)

Bought the album a few weeks ago and love it!

Thanks again :D

please help me someone!! There's a song that i really like but i just can't seem to find who sings it and the name of the song!! The song is from one tree hill on the episodes: the games that play us & on: the search for something more!

Here is some of the lyrics:

(one of the verses)
Tell me tell me im wrong
Tell me... (dont know this part)

(chorus)
Take it away take it all away
Break it away

The things that are in parenthesis are not part of the song!

Please help someone!!

I also need help.
There was a song in the 90's.
I guess it would be considered classic rock.

It went something like "i can feel it ___ "
And then something like "like a rose on a grave"?

Hi guys looking for a song that is not that old, I think it was a YouTube hit.

It's a girl with brown hair playing the guitar. On stage she has a recording device she handles with her feet. First she records the first part, which is only woohooh, woohooh. Than she does a tamborine and guitar and finally sings the song, the lyrics I don't remember, but one phrase is about a cadillac. Hope anyone recognizes it!

You can mail me the answer on verslindy(at)hotmail(dot)com

In my 80s I used to listen to a soft, soul song that made me dream a lot, in a bit sad mood though.
The singer was male with a warm voice and part of the lyrics was kind of:

"Stay with me", "stay until the morning light",,

Anyone who remember the song ?

Please...

Josh
