I signed on to the lease alone in the beginning. My boyfriend later was added. The lease is up in one month and I want my boyfriend to move out. All of the furniture and possessions here are mine, I love the location of my place, and I have a child that I do not want to have to change schools and homes. My boyfriend will not leave without having to legally because he has nothing of his own. He is a user and a mooch. His car and the business he works for are mine and all of the bills are in my name. It is expensive and a lot of work to move. What do I have to do legally to get him to leave so that I don't have to uproot to get away from him?

Sounds like you put yourself in hole. Putting him on your lease made him a legal occupant. I don't think a judge would put him out. But if you own everything as you say Car,Business, bills I think you could negotiate a deal in writing of course or even with an attorney. Take the car out of your name or take it from him for one. Make him pay for his share of the bills. Job wise there is a lot you can do. Looks like you have enough to bargain with .
