Hello:

I don't know. Yes, it's true, somebody is getting stoned around here, but it AIN'T me.

I'm watching Meet The Press. David Gregory (who said "it's not our job" when asked if he should have questioned the Bush Iraq buildup) was interviewing John McCain (who said "I don't know much about the economy") about our economic meltdown.

Huh??

And the world clucks their tongues and shakes their heads about the seriousness of the discussion, and how serious WE are taking it.

Huh??

This program used to have gravitas. Now it's Alice in Wonderland AND The Emperor Wears No Clothes... Are you a tongue clucker?

I don't waste a good Sunday morning watching the Sunday talk shows anymore. But I agree ;I would probably still watch it occasionally if Russert was still around.

Gregory also interviewed Geithner according to news accounts. I imagine it was just some more worthless clucking also.

I'll read the transcript and see iof there was any substance.
