Hi Everyone - I sure hope I've posted this in the correct place. I would appreciate some suggestions on some affordable teen activities maybe you have tried.

My daughter is turning 13. She has invited 10 girls over for a camp out in the back yard. I've got the tents, the fire pit is set to go for roasting marshmellows. I haven't given any thought to activities, of course now that I'm dealing with teens, I lost all creativity.. LOL.

One idea has come to mind; however, I don't care for the thought of having them running around the neighborhood especially since I don't know a few. - A photo scavenger hunt. Instead of knocking on doors, take a photo to prove it.

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated! God Bless!

The photo scavenger hunt sounds like an interesting idea, but perhaps you could do it in groups? Spit them up into two or three groups and send an adult with each of them and have them compete against the other groups to finish the list first. You can even use separate cars for each group and make it a wider "search." A softball coach of the local college team set up something similar. Since I worked at a pet shop at the time she came to us and asked us if we would participate. She wanted them to go to the pet store and take a picture with come name "Earl". The girls all assumed they would take a picture with a bunny or hamster or something. "Earl" was a rat. (Which are sweet and great pets) Most of the girls where squeamish and it was a blast having group aftr group of women come in and turn into little girls when they realized they had to hold a rat or they wouldn't win.
