When my computer first comes on there is a box in the middle of the screen that says locked and I press on that then I can use it how do I get rid of that box so I can turn it on and it goes straight onto windows I have vista thanks

I think this is a "BIOS" lock and that the password is empty. I suggest getting into the BIOS when your computer is booting. Usually this is accomplished by hitting <F1>, or <F2>, and there are other key combinations. If the screen says "Hit <F1> to enter SETUP", this is what you want to do.
Once you're in SETUP (the BIOS editor), try to locate the position where the lock is and turn it off. Unfortunately, computers are very different in their SETUP utilities, so I can't guess what it will actually say.

If the BIOS trick suggested fails to solve your problem, please describe more completely when in the boot process this message pops up. Also, can you describe completely everything the box says including any blank lines, all of it.
Taking a photo of the screen and posting it here would be clearest of all what you're facing.
