I was adopted at birth in Illinois, 11/28/1964. I can't get any answers and need to fill this void. I was told that their last name was Estes. I was born at St.Johns Hospital in Springfield,Il.

This should probably be on the missing persons board where the "location" experts hang out.
Have you registered with any of the adoption sites where children and parents both post and hopefully find each other?
What is your date of birth?
There are several between the ages of 50 and 52 in Springfield - have you contacted them to see if they are related to you?

If it was a closed adoption, then do NOT get your hopes up. It's good to look, but don't expect some happy, joy-filled reunion. There are plenty of reasons a birthparent may not want a reunion.
That being said, have you registered at websites with reunion pages? ISSR, Adoption.com and Adoption.org are 3 great ones.
Have you contacted the adoption agency used? Sometimes they will allow you to place a letter with your contact information in it in your file for birthparents if they look for you.
Same thing for the county where the adoption took place--have you left a letter in your adoption file there to be given to birthparents if they come looking for you?
With the previous 2 suggestions--have you checked to see if a birthparent has left you anything there?
Have you looked into hiring a private detective? While that can get spendy, that is also a way that usually gets results.
WHY can you not get answers, if I may ask?

Well the state and county told me that the records are sealed. The only thing is if the birth mother put in there that I can never find out or make contact. I was told that I have a lot of siblings and that's why I was put up for adoption,to many mouths to feed. I don't look at it as they did not want me , they loved me enough to give me up to a wonderful loving family who will always be my "mom and dad" . I have made 100s of phone calls and no answers, some one has to know something.

Have you left YOUR information?
It is VERY unlikely that you will ever get closed records unsealed.
What about registering on reunion sites?

All of them... I have been searching for over 20 years. I guess I will wait till God can show me who they are.

I don't see that that's necessary - ask someone who specializes in old records, retain a private investigator.
