Does anyone have a routing diagram for the drive belt (not mower deck drive belt) for a John Deere STX 38 lawn tractor? I need to replace mine and I have no idea of belt routing and tensioning.

Thanks:confused:

I am still looking through my records but you can buy a used manual for $28. John Deere STX38,STX30 Lawn Tractor Operators book - eBay (item 300299704304 end time Apr-10-09 03:05:18 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/John-Deere-STX38,STX30-Lawn-Tractor-Operators-book_W0QQitemZ300299704304QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ200 90312?IMSfp=TL090312124009r17091)

The routing is rather straightforward by first noting which is the idle/tensioner pulley. The other pulley operates off the brake system to either eliminate or relieve the tension. The only real issue is removing parts necessary to remove or install the drive belt. I thank those that helped me get this answer.
