I am a widow that has recently met a man (1 yr ago). He is VERY meticulous and orderly which is something that was lacking in my family for years. He has recently painted the inside of my house, and he doesn't feel that my children are respectful and careful. They don't do it on purpose, but they are careless. How do I get my children to be more observent around the house and to be more careful without chasing them away. BTW I love the organization and cleanliness this man brings into my new life.

On another note, I had my daughter and her boyfriend living with me for about 6 months. My daughter was disrespectful. Her boyfriend, moved back with his parent and didn't take his clothes with him. Since I needed to clean up my house cause I needed to sell, after 6 months I took his clothes to his sisters, and was very respectful in doing so. He won't speak to me cause he feels that I owe him an apology and my daughter agrees with him.

Meeting a different man is hard for children, talk to your children and explain to them you need more respect and if they have any problems the problem here is communication
