I just re-imaged my Windows Dell from Vista to XP. The only reason I re-imaged is because I had a problem with my hard drive and I didn't carry the Windows Vista CD. So, I ran the Windows XP.

Problem: After I re-imaged I can't browse the Internet.

Device Manager: There is a couple of yellow question mark on the following:

Ethernet Controller
PCI device
SM Bus Controller
Video Controller (VGA)

Do I have to install this drivers in order to get internet?

Yes, you'll have to go to Dell and get the drivers. Go to Support and Downloads. If you can, find the Service Tag for your computer on the label with the serial number... that will pinpoint your machine and then you can d-load the specific drivers. Get the ethernet, and video drivers first, then install the rest once you are back online to avoid further conflicts.
Hope this helps!

Yes as I am sure you need the ethernet driver to get online

Download drivers from a PC then transfer them to one with issues and install

Try to get drivers from dell and post back if still having problems

You can also check to see if your internet provider has a usb connection so you can get online to download the rest of your drivers.
