OK I think this was a brainless operation, but I can't get this thing lit?

OK so I go to the off position... no brainer there

Go to the pilot position and press on the reset red button and hit the ignitor button

Nothing, at first I saw the spark, but when I hit it, I see nothing?

I changed the setting of the temp setting to low and high, the label says to the lowest setting

Still nothing... anyone got a suggestion?

I could really use some advise...

A lot of possibilities here.

Is the gas turned on? There may be problems with the gas valve. If you only saw one spark, it's possible the ignitor is bad.
