Hello, My 4 year old cat keeps throwing up.. she threw up 5 times in the past two hours. Nothing seems to come out, just some liquid. The last time she threw up it did contain half of a hairball treat I fed her earlier thinking it was hairballs. After she throws up she acts normally, including playing with her sibling.. Should I be concerned? She has been eating and drinking normally as far as I can tell. Should this be brought to the vet's attention?

My siamese cat often throws up and coughs up hairball and then acts normally. Otherwise he is in excellent health. I would keep an eye on him, but it sounds like he is okay and he should not need to see a vet unless you see blood or if he seems unwell. Good luck.

If she continues to throw up, please bring her to the vet. My cat threw up numerous times over two days, frequently. It turns out that the dry food that I had been feeding her had built up in her rectum all the way to her small intestine, and she couldn't poop it out. She's fine now, but make sure to keep an eye on her bathroom habits, try switching up her food between wet and dry.
