Hi. I have been in a relationship with a young guy for little over 2 months now. Everything was going good until about 1 week ago. He don't call me or return my phone calles. He says that he loves me and misses me but doesn't make an effort to come see me or call. It's like he expects me to come to him. He suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. I don't understand if it his disease, his medication or I he really just doesn't want to be with me. I have wrote him a letter saying that I think he doesn't want to be with me anymore and he called me later that night and didn't say anything about the letter and came over to spend time with me. We cuddled and everything like we nomally do. My concern is why he doesn't call me or something. I'm just getting tired of feeling like I'm doing everything . This is also his first relationship. What should I do.

Guys don't think like we do when it comes to spending time together. Emotional connection is not at the top of their list.

It's not you. He's just being male. Don't complain to him all the time or he will decide you whine and complain too much and will get turned off. Get busy with life, work, school, hobbies, friends so you don't obsess over him.

Paranoid schizophrenia.

There are a lot.. of factors here.. it will not be easy.. to understand his reasons. Even on people that are healthy.. no one can really understand the how's and whys of a relationship..

Your best bet is to just ask him.. and talk to him how you feel. Not too much though as you have only been dating a short time..

Just say I really like hearing from you. And I love it when you call me.. that's all you have to do..

I agree with wondergirl.. get busy with your life.. take your mind off him and stop thinking you need to hear from him.
Yes it is nice to hear from your partner but sometimes we can get lost in that.

All the best

Don't sell yourself short, and don't be so needy. If he doesn't meet your needs he is not right for you. And that's OK. Be your best you there are lots of wonderful guys out there looking for a girl who is sweet, fun, and knows where she is going! Chin up get out there!

The relationship is short only two months. If you really feel like this is a problem then its best to end things now before things go further. If not then give it time and see where the relationship goes.

He really does have his own issues, and maybe he can't help it, so adjust your expectations of him to a more reasonable level. You say he is a young guy so, how old are you both?
