I have a toilet set on a ceramic tile floor which is rocking. When I removed the toilet and wax rings, I found the PVC closet flanges damaged at the bolt slots. The flange is otherwise fine. I just cannot secure the toilets to the floor properly now. Further, because of the age of the set up (about 11 years) and the fact that the builder used cheap screws to secure the flange to the floor, the wood screw heads have corroded sufficiently that two of them could not be unscrewed. I've drilled the heads of those two out. However I cannot remove the flange as it is glued to the 3" PVC bend. Therefore, I cannot remove the screw shafts in those two holes. I believe I could set a repair flange of some kind over the PVC flange and screw it down to the floor with the remaining two holes. However, I am unsure which repair flange would do the job. Suggestions? Availability? Thanks for the help!

If it is a plastic flange and the metal that is around the plastic is rusted out you can buy a part to replace the metal. It is called a "Bay Flange", you should be able to get them at any good home repair store of a plumbing shop.
