My 5 month old labrador isn't acting herself, she is really lazy and drowsy in the mornings, doesn't eat her food properly, if at all! Up until about 11/12ish... moans and groans, sleeps a lot. We tried changing her food a little by adding some carrots etc in to her normal food, or putting cheese or tuna etc in to her pedigree puppy food... but it doesn't work. She just sniffs it and walks away. Normally she would happily eat bread in milk in the mornings but isn't eating that either anymore... could she be beginning to have her periods soon? I don't know what's wrong with her and I'm v.worried :( she also got sick yday morning, just bubbly spit came out, nothing else as she hadn't eaten, but she wasn't hungry as she wasn't eating her food... please help!! ::confused:

Time to consult a professional. Get her to the VET ASAP!

Its sounds as if you have a sick puppy on your hands with the lethargy, vomiting and lack of appetite. This is not normal behavior or related to her heat cycle. You need to take your dog to the vet asap.
