When I wear silver plated Jewellery it turns copper, Why? Or any kind of jewellery that is coated will turn copper.I also can't wear gold gold as it will turn my skin black almost instantly ,even if I hold it between my fingers for a few moments there is a black residue.Its not the standard green that most people get.

Do you mean copper colored? Real silver does not usually turn a different color. Your jewerly is probably an alloid which means it is a mixture of different metals. Or it could be made of nickel metal. The gases in the air react with metals which makes it tarnish thus making look copper colored. You could try using a jewlery cleaning solution to remove the color or use ajax with a rough cloth or scrubie. Or u can buy real silver jewlery
