My mother has been living in my state since April, she has some health issues. I was able to get her to see a doctor twice. She refuses to go back. I have suggested another doctor, she still refuses. My mother has serious physical and mental issues. I have contacted two organizations for help but to no avail. She's been having delusions for a long time. It is not easy to listen to :(her talk about things that not real or did not really happen. If you tell her its an delusion she gets very angry. She's needs help and I don't know what to do. She also needs a new ID card, she's needs a birth certificate to obtain a new I.D. card. I found out a birth certificate was never filed for her. I was going to try and get a delayed birth certificate for but cannot do that now. Does anybody have any answers for me. (This is my biological mother.) She gave birth to 9 kids. All of us were taken away. I am the one that's trying to help her right now. I and my husband that is.

When my mother began to suffer from dementia due to old age my brother was named her power of attorney. You can ask her to sign over power of attorney or you can request it from the court.
