I NEED HELP - PLEASE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET SOMEONE TO HELP ME

I owed back taxes of about $1600 to the state of Illinois. Some how they were able to garnish my SSD check to the tune of about $275 a month. It has been over two years and they have now taken nearly 4 time what they originally said I owed them, AND I CAN'T GET THEM TO STOP. I can not get them to stop taking it out of my monthly check. Social Security tells me to go talk to the IRS it is their fault, the IRS tells me to go talk to SS it's their fault. I don't care whose fault it is, I just need it to get fixed and STOPPED. I need HELP. Can someone help me find someone that could help me get this fixed. Like everybody else, I really need the money. I need the money right now so I can pay my $1200 a month bill for the med's I take every month. I need them to stop taking the money and to pay me back all of the extra money they took from me.
PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE

In most states, disability payments are exempt from garnishment. The exclusions are current or back child support, or current or back taxes. Check with your state's Attorney General's office. Good luck to you!

Hello l:

If it's the state of Illinois doing it, then they'd be the ones to talk to - not the IRS or SS.
