This is just a rant.

When you show interest, and try to get to know them, they back away, saying they are busy, and that we should just be friends..

Fast forward a few weeks, and you completely don't contact them (no text, emails, or text).. and is no longer interested..

All of a sudden they've been thinking about you and are interested..

What's with that.. it's like they don't want you, when you're trying, and when you don't want them anymore, they just come >_>

Frustrating I know, but I have always believed that single, and free, means you date a variety, and have no time for those that don't have time for you.

I think dating one person at a time, is a real trap, and cuts down on your options, and fun.

Did I say FUN!!

I don't get how you can date more than one person at a time..

I understand that dating is for getting to know another person, but I just find myself getting attach really easily :(, which I know pushes people away, because you could appear clingy.

I don't get how it works n.n.. I only date people that I feel attracted to, and can see myself like in a romantic way, but I don't attract to people easily :S.. Usually I don't date until I know the other personality quite well :S.. Because personality is really what gets me attracted...

I never dated for romance, just good clean fun.

Some people are in it for the chase. While your chasing them they back off but when you stop it is like "what happen" so they start hunting you down. People like this is about games in my book.

Like Tal said dating is about fun. It is like job hunting you put your resumes out there in hopes of landing a job. You wouldn't just send your resume to one place because what happens if you don't get that job?

So when it comes to dating you go out there to seek someone that has what your looking for but it is all right to date more than one person. Now once you meet that special someone and the two of you agree to become exclusive than you can't date nobody else because if you do your now be doing something called cheating.

I didn't date, perhaps that was an upside for me. I would always "hang out" and I wasn't narrowing my options until I found one that fit my personality and I knew her well enough. My only exception to that rule for me, is my fiancé. From the first time we hung out, I was drawn to her. We didn't "date" or hop into a relationship but I wasn't looking to with anyone else. We just fit so well, it grew from a friendship. My opinion, friendship first, it's a great building block

With some people, when there is no chase, there is no victory, no reason to try.

You may be finding that the guys you're dating are interested in "winning" your heart, rather then it being given to them. They want to work at developing a relationship with you, not be handed it.

Does that make sense? You say that you fall for someone too fast, that could be what is the issue - by falling too fast, you take out the mystery and "what next" feeling of a new love.

I'd do as Tal and Rome say, don't date for the purpose of beginning a relationship - or at least try and tell yourself that. Date to have fun.

When a guy asks you out, look at it as a night of fun, not the potential beginning of a long-term relationship. If it develops in to that, awesome! But, don't focus on that. It may come across as needy and, as you said, clingy.

In my experience, men like to chase. They like the mystery. :)

Be mysterious! It's the best part about being a woman! ;)

Don't give up on your ideal relationship, by any means. Just bring back some of the mystery! :)

So I took everyone's advise..
Had a fun first date just recently..
Don't really feel any chemistry yet, but I guess I'll just see how things develop.

At the very least we can be great friends :)

We had non-stop good conversation for like 3 hours straight, when we were just walking around downtown
