What can I do about a case I am working on when I went to the bank to get evidence and the person I was going to talk to is a witness in this case and I didn't know she was until the police told me after the fact? Please help me

If you are working on a case you are doing so either as a law enforcement officer or an investigator. It's your JOB to talk to witnesses. I don't understand your question.

I also read that you want to start your own Police Department so I am beginning to question whether you are a troll.

I am representing myself in this case. The evidence I am trying to get is being used against me.

We're the cops telling you that you CAN'T interview her?? Dude! You are allowed to depose the witness...

But, I see that you're in over your head. What are you trying to prove?? That you can put yourself in jail faster than even a prosecutor can?? Looks like it to me.

Even in Canada, I believe they'll appoint a competent lawyer for you. I'd use him.

Then you "aren't working on a case." You are defending yourself. I think you're making a mistake - you are going to upset/offend the witnesses and they ARE going to end up getting protective orders against you.

Dangerous practice, indeed.

I realize you want to be a bounty hunter, intend to start your "own" Police Department - but you really don't have a clear understanding of the law and are making your own bad situation even worse.

Let an Attorney - and an investigative staff - handle this for you before it's too late.

It's too late now to get a lawyer I have trial coming soon and the last lawyers I had told me they won't help me unless I pleaded guilty and I won't do that.

I have NEVER heard of anything like this - defense Attorneys do just that. They defend.

Keep asking around. Something isn't right here.
