Recently, we had some frozen pipes at our cabin and now our dishwasher just automatically starts filling up with water. We've turned the water off and then push the cancel button to drain. Is this an electrical problem (we replaced the electric circuit board, last year after a massive power surge)? Is it a pump or draining problem caused by freezing pipes? ANy insight would be helpful

I would test the fill valve under the DW. If power is not going to the fill valve but water still flows out into the DW then the valve is bad.
