Starting from a pillar, you run a distance 200 east (the x-direction) at an average speed of 5.0 , and then run a distance 280 west at an average speed of 4.0 to a post.

Include Units + Vector Diagram!

200/5= 40 seconds

280/4= 70 seconds

Total distance(not displacement) (200+280)/(40+70seconds)

480/110=4.363636363636
