I have a judgement of 3700.00 for a company that I was considering joining. I never signed any contract. One of the people I was wa thinking of joining gave me his credit card to use as a write off for him. Now I lost by the arbritrator, who had no time to look at my paper work. I am SS disability and retirement Disability which is my only income. I do own a home and car. I owe federal tax 2008 , 2000.00. What do I do. Thank you Donna

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

There isn't much you can do nor is there much they can do. Since your income is from protected sources, then can't attach it. If you inform your bank that all monies deposited in the account are from protected sources, they can refuse a writ of attachment. The most they can do is file a lien against your home, but most states protect your primary residence from such.

I'm curious though, if you didn't sign anything then how were they able to get a judgement that you did agree to join.
