Me & my fiancé have been trying to get pregnant & for the past 5 months I've missed my cycle. All the pregnancy tests were coming back negative & on Friday I got my period. The first 2 days were much heavier than usual & now are normal & I am very confused what might have happened where my cycle would have stopped for 5 months & just picked up again. Has this happened to anyone else? :confused:

No, I have never been on birth control before however my periods have never been regular. There have been times where I have skipped a month but never more than 2 in a row. As far as stress, I haven't felt more than usual. The only thing I can think of is my weight, which I have gained a lot in the past 5 months, but not enough to be catorgized as obese. Could that still be a reason?
