I am having a high pitched noise, on occasion, when I clicked my mouse to go to a site.
It's short and quick, but doesn't happen all the time. Like a mouse squeak. Coming from my cpu. When my email was hacked into recently the noise started about the same time as I was compromised. I run kaspersky and max's, but no alerts there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try AVG antivirus and anti spyware (both a free from AVG.com) but is it the actual computer tower making the sounds of your speakers?

If it's the tower the only moving parts are the HDD and fans, perhaps your hard drive is dying.

Maybe you're holding the mouse too hard? Lol... could be a sound file running, so you can search all the files like *.wav, and look for the 'date created' at the time of infection.

When you say that "it's coming from my CPU", what does that mean exactly. Is it coming out of the speakers? Is it coming from the main computer box?

If it's coming from the main computer box, you need to open the case and try to find where it's coming from. It may be a fan making noise.

It might be problem of your CPU fan so, please check it that and some times when virus or spyware found then also sound comes so update the anti virus or anti spyware and scan with it.
