Yeh I had 2 male guinea pigs and 1 died they were just over 1 and I'm not sure what to do because I no the other 1 s v.lonely someone said I should have it put down I'm not sure if I buy a new one would they fight?

Why would you put it down?

Guinea pigs don't usually care too much if they have another guinea pig as a "friend", but yours is used to being with a buddy.

Perhaps adopt another, keep them in separate cages, side by side until they get used to each other, and then slowly introduce them. Make sure that they are supervised at first so you can break up a fight if it starts.

Don't put the other piggy down, he's not sick. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

I had a guinea pig that died and I went and bought another male and they didn't like each other for about a week or so but they get along now, so try it and see. I think as long as they have there own space they will be fine.
