I have 1 1/4 conduit and need to pull three #6 copper wires through 170 feet. Can you recommend the easiest way? Pull one at a time or all three? How to I hook my cord to the wires?
Thanks

I doubt that you will be able to do this all in one pull. The longest tape I have is 50', what tape do you have? Pull all three at once but you will need to open your conduit at several places to get access.

I have a 200 footer that could be pushed through, attach a rope by stripping about 6-8"
Off the end of the wires fold over on a loop in the rope, tape good, then use a good Wire pulling lubricant. I have used My Truck to pull the wires in. It may not be the recommended way. Eleminates connections, underground connections.
You definitely want to pull all together, How about a Ground?

Damn, three #6's through 1-1/4" should almost pull themselves.
If you've committed to doing this yourself you'll need to get a 200' snake or rope.
With a snake you can attach the wires right to the loop on the end of the snake. Strip off about 3" of insulation from all the wires. The cut off all but about 4 or 5 strands of copper. Loop each wire on the snake and tape into a smooth bundle.
If you use rope you can get a jet line in with a shop-vac and a plastic grocery bag tied to the end like a small balloon. Use the jet line to pull in the pull rope.
IMO no pulling lube should be necessary. That conduit is way bigger than you need. It should be a real easy pull.

If your worried about losing a conductor, get one of those pulling string gizmos. The harder you pull, the tighter they get. I use them on RG-6 all the time. Easily removable.

Like Stratmando said... what about a GROUND?
