I have a Toshiba Qosmio G15-AV501 laptop with a built in SD card reader.
I can not copy files to the card. I get a I/O device error.

Through control panel I have remove the device and reinstalled the device. Removed the driver and reinstalled the driver. Still does not work.

Any suggestions?

OK is this issue limited to just one card or does it affect them all?
As this is a very new model, may be worth giving Tosh tech support a call as it should still be under warranty.

My pcmia slot works fine. I have taken my SD card and put it into a pmcia card adapter and it works fine. Only the internal SD card reader does not work.
