View Full Version : Removing/replacing Stanadyne bath faucet cartridge

Greetings,
I would like to replace the cartridge in a Stanadyne bathtub faucet, single handle. I have the water shut off and retaining pin out. Not sure what to do next since the cartridge does not appear to slide out readily. What is the next step? Thank you.

Moen took over Standyne. If you have the copper horseshoe clip out then Moen makes a cartridge removal tool, (see image) just for those stubborn cartridges. Pick onec up at any plumbing supply house. Once out, do you need instructions on how to replace the cartridge? Good luck, Tom
