Hello,
My electric furnace heats just fine, but when it shuts of I heard a clicking sound coming from the breaker switches connected to the furnace. Also, I turned the unit off by the thermostat and had it off for awhile but heat was still coming from the unit. The breakers were still on when I turned the thermostat off. To test the unit I shut the breakers off and the heat when away and no more clicking sounds. I waited about 20 minutes enough for the unit to cool down, then turned the breakers on from the furnace and left the off and once again the clicking sound started again and the furnace started to heat up again. Should I be concerned? It almost seems like an electrical problem within the breakers because the clicking sounds as if it is in that general area. Blower is on top of the unit.
Any help please respond
Thanks philc78
