Maytage Gas Dryer - Model MDG9606BWW - dryer wasn't heating, removed front panel and notice ignitor had a crack - removed and replaced with a new one. After 20 min dryer was not heating, removed panel and saw that the new ignoitor had burnt out. Before buying another ignitor would like to know if there is something else that might be causing the ignitor to burn out after only 20 mim. Thanks

Did you touch the black or dark grey part of the ignitor with your fingers. That can cause them to go bad. It is also posible the new ignitor had a hair line crack in it from being dropped. They are sensitive and also make sure you get the correct model/part number ignitor for your dryer.
