I have been fighting with my husband because he said that their isn't a reason why my light bulbs keep blowing out. Meanwhile the dining room, living room and den which isn't on the same line keep blowing out. My worries is if this could cause any fires. Please give me some suggestions that I can check it myself.

Could be a lot of reasons,
Cheap bulbs
Irratic voltage
High voltage (above 130 volts)
A quick check of the voltage couldn't hurt, if it's normal (110-120) and is consistent, then I'd try a different brand of bulb.
But don't fight, and you're right, there is a reason for everything, even light bulbs burning out, even if it's normal, there's always a reason...
