Hi everyone, My husband's job is transferring him to another (much more expensive) city and we're going to have to come up with about $1200 for a deposit on a house rental by the beginning of May. His pay is increasing after our move, but there's not a lot of extra money to save from our paychecks for this.

If anyone has any tips on things we may be able to save/ cut back on or just any ideas on something we might be able to do to save up it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in Advance!

Cable, cell phones, dining out, name brands, internet access, video rentals...

Basically list everything you spend money on and get rid of anything that will cause you to die without (food and shelter, basically)

Doesn't the job provide relocation assistance? If they are forcing the move, can't they provide an interest free loan for the deposit?
