Hi,

I love most of the old one hit wonders of the 70's. (except disco) I know there are a lot that made it to the top 40, but rarely (if ever) get played anymore.
There's a couple that I'd love to hear again, but for the life of me can't remember the title, or artist! Mostly because I have not heard them since I was a kid!

Can anyone list any one hit wonders from the 70's that rarely get played anymore?

Thanks!

Here's a few less played ones:

Drivers Seat - Sniffin' the tears
Lonely boy -Andrew Gold
Thunder Island - Jay Furguson
Turning Japanese - The Vapors
Switching to Glide - The Kings
Wham Bam - Silver

Of those, my favorites are Drivers Seat and Switching to Glide.

Here's a great site that lists a BUNCH:

Commander Cody And His Lost Planet Airmen Hot Rod Lincoln
David Essex Rock On (AWESOME old favorite! )
Billy Swan I Can Help (My favorite karaoke song)

Elvin Bishop Fooled Around and Fell in Love
Walter Murphy & The Big Apple Band A Fifth of Beethoven
Starland Vocal Band Afternoon Delight
Nick Gilder Hot Child in the City
Patti Smith Group Because The Night
The Buggles Video Killed the Radio Star (haha, who can forget this one. It was MTVs first video)
M Pop Muzik
Nick Lowe Cruel to be Kind (How dare they put Nick Lowe on the One Hit Wonders list! He had a few hits. Loved Nick Lowe!)
