I'm looking for sites that have lots of in depth information on history (whose history doesn't really matter, I'm getting around to study as much of it as I can, but at the moment I'm studying English and American history). I already go to the BBC site and Wikipedia, but their information is more about major figures (such as kings) and doesn't really illustrate what life was like for common people during a given age, and that's what I'm really interested in.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Want to study old history.
Go search for Maltese history on Google.

Sites of serious depth of information are listed in the following:
www.kn.pacell.com
www.thehistorymakers.com
www.tucaroras.com
www.teacheroz.com
www.si.edu/
www.ATTknowledge.net
I have double checked the sites. Most of the sites are expressions on the history of other racial groups in the Americas. If, you desire to find out more about American history get the opinions of others American experiences... the picture is big and the adventure is worth the travel...
