I have trane heat/air unit installed in the attic of my house. The problem is when I turn off the air or heat on the thermostat, the ftrane urnace in the attic is still blowing air it sounds like it is still running. Any solution? HELP!!

The good thing is that when I turn ON heat or air by the thermostat it is OK to turn on. BUT NOT TURN OFF.

I have a thermostat called White Rodgers that used for the previous unit. When I installed this new Trane unit and the thermostat work fine. It just not work for couple months now. Is it the thermostat problem ? Or something wrong with the trane unit! :  :confused:confused:

Check the fan/limit switch. When the thermostat stops calling for heat it will shut the gas offto the furnace, then when the furnace cools down the fan switch will shut off the blower. Sounds like the fan switch is not truning off.
