I need some expert advice on what to do next. My 1995 Civic with 207,000 miles has been giving me fits for a number of months now and I will try and give a brief history of what has been occurring.
Approximately 2 months ago it started missing at mostly highway speeds and then over the next few weeks I noticed it was starting to miss at low speed as well. The CEL came on about the end of the second week so I took it to a mechanic who at the time seemed a bit too busy to give my problem the attention it needed. He replaced the spark plugs and said that the CEL was on due to a week O2 sensor so he added some fuel additive and thought the CEL would go out if I drove it for a few weeks. I felt he was feeding me a line, but I agreed to try knowing I would probably need to change the O2 sensor to get the light to clear.
I drove it for a few weeks with the same problems as before I took it in for service. I experienced the same misfires and CEL on. I finally decided to replace the O2 sensor myself and the CEL cleared, but I still has the same old misfire as before. I drove it for a few more weeks and towards the last week it started dying while idle until one day it just quit and now won't start.
Over the last year I have replaced the distributor, plug wires, plugs, fuel filter and O2 sensor. I have checked for spark, the timing belt and have fuel getting to the fuel rail, but I don't get any spray out of any of the injectors. I checked this with all of the injectors out and a bag over each I have checked all fuses I was aware of and did the K test and had 4.66 volts at the MAP sensor connector. I can hear the first click and then after 2 seconds the second click from the main relay and the fuel pump running, but it still won't start. Is there something I am missing here?
